Cheer Up is a vibrant, funny, and heartfelt new dance theatre show for young people aged 7+ and their grown-ups. Created by Moxie Brawl, the team behind Punk Alley, this wild and wonderfully furry adventure dives into the brain to explore what happens when life starts to wobble.

Told through playful dance, sharp humour, and tender storytelling, Cheer Up moves between the everyday world and a fantastical landscape inside the mind —  Cheer Up is a place where thoughts have shape, feelings have colour, and love finds a way to grow.

Filled with movement, music, and imagination, Cheer Up celebrates empathy, resilience, and the messy, beautiful work of caring. It’s a show about big feelings, small joys, and learning that it’s okay not to be okay.

2025 R&D funded by Arts Council England National Lottery Funding.
